RAMS Engineer - VIE (m/f/d)

We are currently looking to recruit a RAMS Engineer for our RAMS team located in Mannheim, Germany.

In this role you are responsible to perform RAMS analyses and produce related deliverables for the TRAXX locomotive project(s)/program(s) you are appointed to. You have the technical responsibility to define the RAMS requirements allowing to reach an acceptable level of risks as per the Alstom Transport Safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Performing the RAMS analyses (FMECA, FTA) as per the applicable RAMS instructions/processes
• Contributing to the identification of the necessary RAMS requirements to ensure the achievement of the RAMS targets
• Supporting the engineering (architecture, hardware, software) in the implementation of the RAMS requirements
• Addressing Customer/Independent parties (ISA, NoBo, DeBo, AsBo) comments to get its approval on the Safety deliverables
• Contributing to the assessment of the RAMS performance of the product (Safety Case)

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (electronic, electric, automation or similar – you will be trained to RAMS competency)
• RAMS analysis and demonstration methods (FME(C)A, FTA…) and tools and Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical Engineering
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Structured and organised with hands-on approach
• Fluent in English and German
