YOUR MISSION
Cirque du Soleil is looking for an experienced industry professional to drive ticket sales and revenue growth through groups and the travel trade for Touring Shows in Europe. The Sales Manager- International will be responsible to nurture and establish relationships with group sales agents, corporate clients, meeting/event organizers and tour operators. This is a fully remote position, with ability to consider full time employment in select European countries and external consultant opportunities for others.
The Sales Manager – International Touring Shows will:
- Proactively identify, qualify and target potential clients and agents throughout Europe;
- Research, develop and execute on short-term sales strategies to achieve revenue targets by market;
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and revenue forecasts using Salesforce;
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure smooth execution of group bookings and experiences;
- Ensure accuracy and optimal representation of the Cirque du Soleil brand on partner websites, assets and marketing materials;
- Negotiate rates and business terms with clients that maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction;
- Attend and participate in industry trade shows, conferences and networking events to promote Cirque du Soleil on a Global scale and stay undated on industry trends.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
- At least 5 years of sales experience within the Entertainment or Travel Industry in Europe;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM), familiarity with ticketing system(s) is preferred;
- Self-motivated, results-focused, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Fluency in English essential, and proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Willingness to travel.
