Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in compliance, policy, SLA management, managed services, and security operations.
- Experience in helping integrate processes between Public Cloud Providers and external parties and designing systems, tools, and workflows that help Public Cloud Providers work with external parties.
Preferred qualifications:
- Google Cloud Digital Leader and Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification.
- Experience implementing projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
- Experience with best practices in business operations, service operations, customer support operations, and internet/online media.
- Ability to work with team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
- Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
In this role, you will use your operational and management experience to lead in defining, developing, and operationalizing the Managed Infrastructure Operations Practice. You will have an opportunity to shape all aspects of this organization - how we create the organizational structure, drive efficiencies across a global operations team, develop scalable tools and processes, and measure our own impact and success.
You will provide business critical insights using analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive the internal initiatives needed to be successful. You will be responsible for ensuring that we stay focused on aligning to the highest-level Google Cloud priorities with strong day-to-day operations through organizational design, long-term planning, and management support.
- Define, launch, and drive strategic and analytical initiatives to improve internal and external facing processes and operations. Work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Lead cross-functional projects and teams by working with business stakeholders across the organization to develop and manage project trackers, project communication to stakeholders, timelines, and lead cross-functional groups to synthesize feedback and deliver on project objectives.
- Identify gaps and propose changes to existing policy, systems and, process frameworks. Develop scalable solutions, work to manage risks, and develop best practices that are a benefit across the organization.
- Create dashboards, reporting systems, and internal communications aligned to different audience levels.
- Drive recommendations to executive leadership at all stages of organizational development and execution.
