About the Role:
We are looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) to join our International Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility Team in Putzbrunn, near Munich. You will have the opportunity to compare and help analyzing internal databases and external (web) resources on Gore’s business partners’ policy and practices around human rights due diligence and social responsibility. In this field you will be engaged to support topics like human rights and worker rights as well as central questions related to supply chain responsibility.
For this role you are available as a working student for about 15 – 20 hours per week for 1 year or longer.
Responsibilities: - Reviewing different type of internal databases to compare information on the social responsibility performance of business partners
- Analyze the results and assess the gaps
- Do effective web research and engage with related Gore Associates to address such gaps
- Actively cooperate with different functions such as the supply chain team and technical teams facilitating data management
Qualifications:
- You are enrolled as a student of economics, international relations, business administration or a similar course of studies
- You have participated in at least one class related to sustainability, supply chain, or business and human rights
- Demonstrated skills in data analyses
- Ability to learn systems quickly and attention to detail in summarizing data
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with others to solve problems
- Evidence of hands-on approach and good judgement to work through ambiguity and challenges
- Demonstrated ability to be an active learner
- You are fluent in English
- Working with MS Office, especially Excel is familiar to you
