The tasks that await the selected student assistants are varied. They include the development and implementation of software and hardware in test vehicles, test benches and simulation. Comprehensive research is carried out along the entire vehicle development process, from conception and setup to evaluation and real vehicle testing.
We, the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Systems, work on the latest developments in the field of software-based vehicles. The development of modern, autonomous vehicles requires a rethink in the field of system and software engineering to keep pace with the growing complexity and to be able to use the latest technologies such as AI-based functions in vehicle technology. To this end, we build test vehicles according to the latest concepts and put our own test bench into operation.
