BOOST Programme
The BOOST program was launched in 2019 across Operations in Deutsche Bank to upskill our employees with practical digital skills to drive efficiency for the bank. The program aims to improve processes in the bank's operations, through adoption of digital toolkits like Alteryx, Tableau, Python as well as Agile, Design Thinking etc. Each participant had to identify an area of improvement and complete the project through a series of incubator and hackathon sessions. With transformation tools and skillset learned in this program, the participants were able to identify areas of improvements and define solutions that can be implemented.
EMEA Transformation
The Transformation team leads all Transformation initiatives under the Client Standardisation flagship programme across
Corporate Bank Operations in EMEA Branch Operations with a bias toward collaborative action to inspire a new way of working by creating and co-delivering process enhancements across Deutsche Bank. The candidate will also work very closely with Operations Engineers who work as change agents to realise operational value, enhance process efficiencies, implement cost reduction opportunities, and enable improved agile execution ensuring that the best solutions are brought to life.
Your role and key responsibilities
Lead the BOOST program front-to-back, including the delivery of program milestones and event requirements from inception of nomination/application, selection, training coordination, and key milestone events such as launch, incubators, finale.
Building the BOOST community globally and support new participants in their BOOST journey, including ensuring the completion of training and project requirements. Maintain repository of BOOST alumni, their tool specialization, project status and experience levels in partnership with BOOST managers.
Coordinate mentors, external trainer vendors and internal resources: Organise training schedule, incubator sessions, other ad hoc events and drive the branding, communications, marketing for BOOST.
Develop and improve the BOOST program content, operating model, standards, policies and best practices for the success of the participants across CB Operations.
Support the EMEA Branch Operations Transformation by driving and executing robust country/regional Opco and SteerCo governance on transformation initiatives in collaboration with Operations, Technology and Business. Oversee the Change and Transformation consolidated Book of Work, with responsibility for timely and accurate tracking, reporting and escalation
Utilise data analytics capabilities and digital tools to assess size of prize for business case proposals and prioritisation of transformation initiatives
Implement and administer the Client Special Handling Governance for EMEA Branches. Enable a regional rollout of Client Standardisation across all EMEA Branch Operations for the Securities Services, Trade Finance and Cash Business
Your Skills and Experience
Five plus years knowledge and experience working within programme management and driving people/culture transformation
Strong project management skills, communication skills and ability to curate community experiences
Ability to work independently as part of virtual global teams in a matrix organisation
Capabilities of using new tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, MS Power Suites etc will be a value add.
An innovative & determined approach to work, a willingness to take ownership, ability to effectively assess and mitigate program risks and dependencies and an ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluent in both written and verbal English
