Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

The site of Munich in Germany is focused on Thermal Systems. Our department is looking for a VIE Product technical engineer for 24 months within the team.

Your challenges?

• You will work on engine thermal system dimensioning (simulation/design/specifications)

• You support of all necessary processes connected with project development

• You do the preparation of project documentation (such as SPPC, DFMEA, Product BOM)

• You contribute to risk analysis & support RFQ technical answer for components and system approach

• You do active participation in product validation, test requirements analysis and test requests creation. (simulations and validation tests)

• You support technical interface (component and system approach) with customers

• You will contribute to perform all R&D deliverables for RFQ

• You will also do some participation in R&D team meetings, support in all R&D team activities & participate to customer meetings

• You will be the contact with back offices and customers

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Engineering degree

• Ideally, you already have experience in this field, a good knowledge of automotive industry

• It is a plus if you already have expertise on engine cooling & thermal management

• It is also a nice to have knowledge on Catia V5, sizing of components/system, component design definition

• You have a fluent level of English

• You have a good level of German

• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
