Key Role

Conduct cyberspace operations (CO) planning to integrate domain-specific knowledge into CCMD planning efforts and running estimates. Review and provide input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, DoD directives and guidance, and other documentation supporting strategic operations research, analysis, and policy development. Establish measures of performance (MOPs) and measures of effectiveness (MOEs) to assess cyberspace capabilities’ impact in support of battlefield effects. Track adversaries’ strategic developments in cyberspace and their theater impact to inform strategic estimates. Drive the development of intelligence requirements to support CO planning.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Strategic-level offensive cyberspace operations (OCO) or defensive cyberspace operations (DCO) planner
• 3+ years of experience working at a CCMD, Joint Staff, or a Major Service HQ
• Experience with establishing cyberspace measures of performance (MOPs) and measures of effectiveness (MOEs) to assess campaign objectives and battlefield effects
• Experience with tracking adversary cyberspace capabilities and activities to assess theater impacts
• Knowledge of the intelligence requirements development process
• Ability to produce written reports, deliver oral briefings, and facilitate meetings with senior military staff
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with SIGINT, Computer Network Operation (CNO), or Computer Network Exploitation (CNE)
• Knowledge of cyberspace operations tools, technologies, and tradecraft
• Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats and state-sponsored cyber adversaries
• Master’s degree
• Completion of the Joint Cyberspace Operations Planners Course (JCOPC)
• Completion of specialized education in Military Joint Operation Planning through the Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I or JPME II

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
