Summary
For the "Business Unit Airborne SIGINT" we are looking for a "Project Manager Airborne SIGINT (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The "Business Unit Airborne SIGINT" is responsible for integrated airborne SIGINT solutions and pod solutions, including development, production and integration as well as the associated ground stations, reference and training systems and the corresponding software solutions.
To support our international growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced project manager with experience in proposal writing to expand our international business.
Your Tasks

Actively plan and implement the division's strategic goals with the aim of market-related development of products and future concepts, expanding market share and ensuring the implementation and follow-up of this strategy in the area of responsibility

Promoting close cooperation with Sales to ensure successful and strategic positioning on the market

Preparing offers as the responsible Bid Manager in close cooperation with Sales and Business Development and conducting/managing contract negotiations with the aim of ensuring that the customer places the order

Building and expanding long-term customer relationships

Functional team lead of an interdisciplinary team (management, motivation and further development of employees in the team and in other organizational units)

Leading project execution for new national and international projects following a successful Airborne SIGINT campaign

Responsible for on time, on budget and high quality project delivery according to PMI and HENSOLDT processes

Responsible for sound project planning including continuous monitoring and controlling as well as conducting systematic project reviews (initiating corrective actions in case of deviations from plan if necessary)

Ensuring the implementation of and compliance with all contracts with internal and external service providers, subcontractors and other suppliers, taking into account deadlines, costs and quality requirements

Ensuring the implementation of proactive R & OM and claim/waiver management

Creating business plans for the product line in collaboration with sales, systems engineering and business development

Actively contribute to a strong corporate culture
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on business is required.
Your Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable
-
PMP (PMI) certification or comparable

Verifiable experience in managing complex military projects with multiple subcontractors in an international environment

Practical experience in managing diverse and distributed teams as well as assertiveness and resilience

Experience with complex international tenders with high volume for military customers

Experience with aviation systems and knowledge of SIGINT / ESM systems advantageous

Structured, analytical and flexible way of working

Business fluent German and English skills
