As ‘TI Innovation Lead’ you will join the ‘Portfolio & Business Strategy’ team of the Business Area (BA) “Transformation of Industry” (TI).
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Defining the TI innovation/R&D roadmap to ensure transformation towards our ambitious decarbonization goals, in line with the overall TI and Siemens Energy (SE) strategy
- Identifying relevant innovation topics for TI as a whole or across several individual businesses and setting up and driving respective R&D programs jointly with the concerned businesses
- Regularly evaluating and giving direction to existing R&D programs in TI, e.g. based on progress, expected impact, required resources, and strategic fit
- Evaluating TI’s product and technology portfolio and elaborating recommendations and strategic options for TI management regarding the evolution of this portfolio
- Pro-actively monitoring the technology space of TI businesses and identifying potential partners as well as funding funding opportunities for TI R&D programs and supporting/coordinating funding applications
- Coordinating all SE innovation processes for TI and managing the TI R&D reporting to SE
- Managing proactively SE TI’s innovation & product management community and alignment with innovation teams at SE level
- Frequently updating TI management as concerns internal innovation highlights, milestone achievements, product launches etc., as well as external developments in SE TI’s technology space
What You Bring
- 10+ years experience in R&D and innovation management, strategic product management and related fields
- Long-term experience with relevant SE TI technologies
- Proven track record in defining and implementing complex technology & product roadmaps, technology scouting and developing innovative technologies
- Team player with excellent analytical skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and thrive on a challenge
- Strong impact & influence and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and interact with colleagues and collaborators at all levels in a large, complex and global organization
