My client, a large OEM based in Munich is looking for a hardware developer to join them on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop hardware systems, including circuit boards, sensors, controllers, and interfaces, for automotive applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and performance targets.
Analyze and troubleshoot hardware issues, providing efficient solutions to optimize functionality and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Participate in design reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and provide insightful recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a hardware engineer, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong proficiency in hardware design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools.
Solid understanding of automotive electronic systems, such as powertrain, infotainment, ADAS, and vehicle networking.
Familiarity with hardware design standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 26262, CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++ for embedded systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
