What We Are Looking For
Integrated into the Sales Division, the ideal candidate will bring a real benefit to the team by ensuring the highest possible standard of customer satisfaction. The role will require a highly dynamic and motivated candidate who is experienced in supporting an international trade organization and willing to go the extra mile on a daily basis.
Typical Tasks May Include
- Adhere to company guidelines, principles and procedures
- Maintain and update purchase and suppliers records, gaining a clear understanding of sales team businesses and requirements
- Serve as the link of communication between the purchase department and internal / external stakeholders partners
- Maintain customer satisfaction through superior service
- Develop relationships with existing suppliers via phone calls and emails by proposing solutions that satisfy supplier needs
- Attend regular meetings with the purchase team, prepare meeting minutes and share them with the team
- Create follow up tasks in project management tools e.g. ASANA
- Make quick & accurate cost calculations
- Identify product trends in the industry and identify new markets
- Ensure supply chain management in a timely manner
- Resolve any issues and problems regarding suppliers, transportation companies, and customs clearance
- Maintain trust with the sales team and other departments
- Play an integral part in generating new product ranges
- Update purchase orders in ERP, follow administrative workflows from initial request until creditor payment
- Produce professional-quality reports, presentations, and briefs (monthly, quarterly and annual purchase forecasts)
- Support & work with the sales team on spot market requirements
What You Should Bring
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in purchasing department
- English C1 Level or equivalent (fluent or near-fluent)
- Attention to detail: meticulous & analytical
- Administrative skills: independent and self-organized
- Able to anticipate problems & solve them
- Identify improved ways for the company to handle issues - be one step ahead
- Integrate into the company working culture (work hard, be happy)
- Demonstrate strong initiative and be an action-taker
- Extremely organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult suppliers
- Advance computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
- Comfortable in a growth target driven environment
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
- Able to provide comprehensive purchase reports to managers
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Accurately follow and execute instructions as agreed upon
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
