Job Description
Key Activities:
- Incident resolution, Incident management
- Implementing changes, change management
- Installation of new versions, patches
- Close customer contact during operative work
- Supplier management for incident related communication
- Documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
- Proactive capacity and performance management of systems and system components
- Support in planning and implementation of projects / new designs Key Interfaces
- External service provider Technical skills required
- Proven experience in data center day to day operations on a global scale with on premise and remote data center
- Proven experience in steering, streamline collaboration with collocation provider Experience with a data center infrastructure management tool, preferably FNT Command Skilled in system monitoring and incident management; including related vendor management
- Basic skills in cooling, air-conditioning, and building technology
- Experience with multiple hardware products and vendors, including Dell, EMC, Cisco
- Good in documenting/Confluence, ServiceNow CMDB and FNT
- Creating/maintaining key performance indicators (KPI) for the data center infrastructure
- Basic skills of server OS (MS, Unix), networking and storage and backup
- Willing to work in an international environment
Education and Work Experience:
- Qualified IT or IT-related education
- At least 10 years of working experience in IT, thereof 5 years in respective subject area
- Proficiency in English (at least level B2/C1 in Council of Europe scale)
