Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury passenger cars and vans.
The automotive industry is in a state of upheaval. Digitalization in particular is driving this change. In the "MB.OS@VAN E/E System Integration" department, we control the future of the electrical/electronic world in the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) project for the vans and ensure the maturity of the electronic systems.
One of the department's main goals is the systematic testing of E/E components, functions and systems in the various integration stages up to the complete vehicle. From this, we derive meaningful findings on the maturity level of customer systems and, with the defect elimination program, help to ensure software quality for the customers of our vehicles in line with our strategic goals. To this end, our reporting system captures metrics from the various test instances as a basis for release decisions and customer capability assessment.
You will work directly with all teams to operationalize the reporting and methodically develop it further together with partner areas. You will also create presentations for presentation to management as a cross-cutting function for the department's strategic issues. You work on the evaluation of systems and functions and are in direct contact with testing up to the complete vehicle. All tasks require communicative skills and a methodical approach, as well as high quality standards for your own work and reliability.
In this exciting and challenging environment we are looking for you as a working student and offer the following main topics:
- Support in the implementation / development of E/E reporting for vans
- Visualization of maturity levels, generation of overviews and status reporting in cooperation with the domains Infotainment, ADAS, Body&Comfort, Driving &Charging, as well as the overall vehicle projects
- Support of the information interfaces to the body structures with regard to maturity reporting on control units, availability and customer capability
- Preparation of slide sets for presentation to management
