As part of the ParTec Marketing team, the Product Marketing Manager and Technical Writer helps develop, execute, and monitor all product marketing activities. Your role includes producing high-quality technical documentation as well as product marketing materials that is appropriate for its intended audience. You will help analyse our target groups, product USPs as well as lead the market research on High performance computing, quantum computing as well as Artificial Intelligence.
- Perform market research to understand ParTec’s target audience’s wants, needs, pain points, and possible buying objections. Document and map out the customer journey of our potential buyers and adjust our marketing strategies
- Leverage marketing and sales tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Trends, Salesforce, etc.) to gather relevant information on buyers, the market, and ever-changing digital trends
- Create sales and technical content that is used across marketing campaigns (case studies, product and feature pages, help docs, FAQs, creating bottom-of-the-funnel educational content for users)
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
- Create tutorials and manuals to help end-users use a variety of applications
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture to easily access, share and provide information
- Work closely with various other teams such as technical and sales team
- Ensure that all of ParTec product-relevant marketing activities are adhere to ParTec’s brand manual and resonate with our target audience
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, business administration/marketing or equivalent preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in product marketing and technical writing
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software and hardware documentation
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Strong visual competence and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc.
- Strong knowledge of various marketing, collaboration and analytics tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, Paligo or Confluence), and content management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Language requirement (written & spoken) of German and English is mandatory
- Understanding and proficient usage of additional languages is a plus
- Office environment available at our German headquarter in Munich
