In the Chief Technology Office’s Digital Portfolio team, we are bringing together our product and portfolio managers, customers, and sales specialists with one goal only: Improve and transform our digital products and services to enable our customer to master the challenges ahead. Support utilities and grid operators to upgrade their grids for e-cars and renewable energy in the fastest and most efficient way. Build manufacturing processes that improve use of renewable energy. We are looking for a customer-focused business analyst that translates customer and market data into insights of portfolio requirements. You will work closely with both sales and product management colleagues, coordinate data analysis projects, and orchestrate data-driven innovation journeys.

What your typical week will look like. - Find and analyze the right customer and market data to derive current and future requirements of our digital portfolio
- Align with product and portfolio managers our future digital solution roadmaps based on customer and business intelligence insights
- Challenge traditional ways of finding product-market fits with your data-driven perspective
- Initiate and lead portfolio innovation projects bringing together insights based on data, domain experts and latest AI/ML technologies
What you should be able to do. So that the world can do more. - A master's degree in business-focused data science, an engineering field, business administration (with a significant engineering or IT portion), or others
- You could already gain first experience (1-3 years) in an IoT context of operational technology
- You show a passion for data analysis, customer-driven innovation, and the technology fields of Siemens Smart Infrastructure
- You enjoy immersing yourself in data, putting insights into the right business context, and presenting them in an understandable manner to different target audiences
- You demonstrate initiative and do not hesitate to giveyour own ideas and put them into practice
- You are dedicated to working in an interdisciplinary team, interacting closely with customers, and sharing your expertise with non-tech people. You feel comfortable in international and virtual teams
- Proficiency in English and conversational ability in German. Additional languages are a plus
