Your tasks

• Work in the contractual risk management process of offers, in close cooperation with the subsidiaries. This includes, among other things, the identification and assessment of commercial risks as well as the development of risk mitigating measures in cooperation with the functions involved in the offer.
• Participate in the sales approval process by contributing commercial aspects (contract and consortium structure, bid terms, tax, insurance, financing, etc.).
• Support the subsidiaries in the bidding phase up to contract signature as well as in order execution.
• Contribute to the further development of the global commercial management and risk management system as well as actively supporting the development of new business approaches.
• You will report to the Vice President Global Commercial Management.

Your profile

• Degree in industrial engineering, business administration or comparable with at least 5 years of professional experience in commercial offer processing and/or order processing of international projects in plant engineering.
• Knowledge in finance and accounting/controlling/insurance/taxes/contract law as well as experience with international plant construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC, NEC); SAP knowledge of the modules SD, FI and CM is desirable.
• Very good English language skills further foreign language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French) are advantageous.
• Structured and goal-oriented way of working as well as ability to work in a team contribute to your adequate handling of multi-layered, dynamic projects.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach as well as the willingness to travel internationally (aprrox. 10 %)
