The Position

Tasks & responsibilities

• As the driving force behind our Pricing, Contracting, and Tendering processes, you will take ownership of related data and platforms, collaborating closely with TAs, (R)OPUs, and regions to develop, deploy, maintain, and enhance our global capabilities.
• Seamlessly integrating owned business processes into BI planning cycles and across the organization, you will be the linchpin that ensures smooth and efficient operations.
• Leveraging your expertise, you will design and implement KPIs and systematic reporting to measure the integration, efficiency, and adherence of our capabilities, working hand-in-hand with key stakeholders to continuously improve our reporting systems.
• Fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and capability building, you will organize and facilitate internal and external exchanges on pricing, contracting, and tendering, as well as develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Market Access teams across organizational units.
• Staying ahead of the curve, you will identify, evaluate, and promote cutting-edge pricing concepts, tools, and systems, championing feasible initiatives throughout the organization and leading implementation efforts when applicable.
• As a trusted advisor, you will finally provide invaluable consultation and guidance to Pricing & Access colleagues in TAs and ROPU/OPUs on global pricing, contracting, and tendering processes, methodologies, and platforms.

Requirements

• We are seeking a candidate with an MBA or equivalent degree in Business/Economics, Finance, Health Economics, Business Engineering, or a related discipline, who brings a wealth of knowledge and a strategic mindset to the table.
• You should have a proven track record in operational and strategic roles in Pricing and Market Access within the Pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of the requirements of national, regional, and local payers in key markets (USA, Japan, Germany/EU, China) and international price interdependencies.
• Your strong project management skills are complemented by your extensive experience in international business, demonstrating your ability to navigate and thrive in a global environment.
• You have a demonstrated ability to design and implement business-related frameworks, processes, governance, platforms, and reporting, and can seamlessly translate business requirements into technical/IT terms and vice versa.
• Your leadership skills are as strong as your business acumen, and you possess a keen analytical mind, a passion for learning and developing knowledge of innovative tools, processes, and methodologies, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a must, as you will be working in a diverse and international environment.
