About MedKitDoc and Our Vision of Remote Care
We envision a world where people don't have to worry about access to healthcare, especially in times of urgent need. We aim to make receiving medical care as easy and swift as ordering an Uber.
MedKitDoc was founded in 2020 with this vision after our own family experiences showed us that "Telemedicine 1.0" with only video conferences was a good initial step – but unfortunately not enough to adequately care for chronic diseases. We have grown into a team of approximately 20 highly motivated employees from the Tech, Medical, Business, and Regulatory sectors. Our efforts are bolstered by notable investors like Picus Capital, who believe in our vision and actively support our growth.
Through our MedKitDoc platform, we connect patients with specialists and, by integrating certified medical devices, enable revolutionary remote treatment ("device-enabled remote care"). Our platform allows for real-time transmission of health data such as temperature or lung sounds to doctors, enabling the treatment of chronic diseases without a physical visit to the doctor's office. The MedKitDoc app covers the entire patient journey – from searching for the right doctor to scheduling appointments and documenting medical reports and prescriptions.
Initially, we are focusing primarily on nursing facilities to quickly provide as many patients as possible with chronic diseases access to our hardware-enabled remote care, contributing significantly to the improvement of healthcare services.

Position: Founders Assistant
Locations: Flexible within German time zone +-2; regular travel to Berlin, Hann Münden, Braunschweig, and potentially other locations required.

Role Overview:
The Founders Assistant role is designed for individuals with executive assistant experience who are looking to expand their skills and responsibilities within a fast-paced startup environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Founder across a spectrum of tasks, categorized into A, B, and C priorities, with a focus on administrative support and involvement in operational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the Founder's schedule, including organizing meetings and coordinating travel arrangements, ensuring the Founder can prioritize A-level strategic tasks.
- Tackle B and C tasks with diligence and efficiency, including operational duties and occasional personal errands, to support the Founder's focus on the company's most critical initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the Founder, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders across all task levels.
- Engage in strategic planning and operational improvements, prepared to grow into managing more high-level tasks as you advance in the role.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role or similar, with a proven track record of effectively managing a wide range of responsibilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a clear understanding of how to prioritize A, B, and C tasks.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism, capable of independent work and effective collaboration within a dynamic team.
- Flexibility for hybrid work and regular travel to our offices and other key locations.
- Proficiency in English and German at a C1 level or above, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders and effective management of multinational and multicultural interactions.
Compensation:
We offer a highly competitive package within a caring meritocracy framework. The starting salary range is €45,000 to €85,000 annually, depending on experience, with the potential for significant increases based on the quantity and quality of tasks you can independently manage, directly contributing to easing the Founder's workload. This package includes performance bonuses and equity options, reflecting our commitment to rewarding our team's contributions and growth within the company.
