As a Sr Manager, Sales at Open Text, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of your region’s business. This includes strategic planning, and the execution of plans to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas. As a seasoned sales professional, you know how to engage, motivate and develop a team of high performing Account Executives and will be spending the majority of your work time coaching and developing your team to enable their success.
Role and responsibilities
- Leads Cybersecurity Business in the UK region
- Lead the Enterprise Sales Team
- Translates, localises, and implements the geo go to market strategy into a territory plan
- Builds healthy pipeline that is developed and maintained through a set of initiatives
- Forecasts accurately within company standards
- Ensures self and team adherence to company processes and policies

- Cybersecurity Market and Competitive Knowledge
- Sales and account planning
- Understand Customer Strategy and Solution Selling
- Negotiating, objection handling and deal closing
- Effective sales coaching and guiding
- Channel and alliances understanding and development
- Recruitment of top sales talent
- Skilled in discerning real opportunities from their sales teams
- Ability to focus on priority activities
Key Requirements
- Enterprise Cybersecurity Sales in the UK is mandatory, min. 7 years
- Minimum of 5 years Cybersecurity experience at leadership level
- Has an active network of enterprise CISO /CSO/DPO-Level executives
- Developed a personal network within the cybersecurity Partner & Channel eco-system
- Educational level: Bachelor+
