RECEIVES AND PREPARES CUSTOMERS ORDERS; TOTALS ITEMS ON REGISTER; TAKES MONEY AND MAKES CHANGE. OPERATES, CLEANS AND SANITIZES KITCHEN EQUIPMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES. ASSISTS IN MAINTAINING GENERAL FACILITY SANITATION STANDARDS AS REQUIRED. THIS POSITION REQUIRES ASSOCIATE TO BE FRIENDLY AND PASSIONATELY FOCUSED ON DELIVERING A PERSONALIZED CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. 1. ROTATES BETWEEN WORK STATIONS, PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING, ON A REGULAR OR RECURRING BASIS. A. OPERATES A VARIETY OF KITCHEN AND FOOD PREPARATION EQUIPMENT TO INCLUDE STEAMER, OVEN, GRILL, DEEP FAT FRYER, MICROWAVE OVEN AND RANGE, FOLLOWING ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES. MAY PREPARE FOODS TO INCLUDE VEGETABLES, MEATS AND SANDWICHES INCLUDING THE APPLICATION OF SEASONINGS BASED ON ESTABLISHED RECIPES. B. ASSURES CLEANLINESS OF FOOD PRODUCTS, EATING UTENSILS, COOKING EQUIPMENT AND PREPARATION AREA BY WASHING, RINSING AND SANITIZING ACCORDING TO ESTABLISHED STANDARDS. STORES ALL EQUIPMENT USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH PRESCRIBED DIRECTIVES. C. ASSEMBLES CUSTOMER ORDERS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED FOOD PRODUCTS AS SPECIFIED. D. TAKES CUSTOMERS FOOD SELECTION ORDERS BY LISTENING TO NEEDS, OFFERING SUGGESTIONS AND THANKING CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR BUSINESS. DEMONSTRATES KNOWLEDGE BY MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS OF NEW FOOD ITEMS. OPERATES CASH REGISTER, ACCEPTS CASH, MAKES CHANGE AND PRESENTS ORDER TO CUSTOMERS. MAY PREPARE BEVERAGE REQUESTS, AS REQUIRED. ACCOUNTS FOR CASH FUND AND PREPARES REPORTS AS REQUIRED. 2. PARTICIPATED IN THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT OF SERVICE AND SALES GOALS FOR THE FOOD ACTIVITY. MAY ASSIST IN INSURING OPTIMUM STOCK AVAILABILITY BY PARTICIPATING IN PERIODIC STOCK COUNTS. ADVISES MANAGEMENT OF CUSTOMER REQUESTS/COMPLAINTS. 3. INSURES COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE, SAFETY, SANITATION AND SECURITY REGULATIONS. 4. MAY ASSIST IN UNLOADING, RECEIVING AND STORING FOOD AND EXPENSE SUPPLIES. 5. PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.ACTIVELY COMMUNICATES/PROMOTES THE BENEFITS OF THE MILITARY STAR CREDIT CARD TO CUSTOMERS IN ORDER TO DRIVE SALES GROWTH AND INCREASE CUSTOMER LOYALTY
Job Qualifications
COMPLETION OF HIGH SCHOOL OR THE EQUIVALENT. CREDITABLE JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENT ON A NINE-MONTHS-FOR-NINE-MONTHS BASIS. ABILITY TO READ, INTERPRET INSTRUCTIONS AND TO PERFORM SIMPLE CALCULATIONS USED IN FOOD PREPARATION IS REQUIRED.
