Our client, a major player in shaping Europe's AI landscape, is growing their team significantly. They are seeking an experienced Head of People & Culture to lead the development and implementation of the company's People strategy, supporting ambitious growth plans and ensuring the attraction, retention, and development of top talent.
- Develop and execute a People strategy aligned with organizational objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to offboarding processes.
- Build and lead a team of People professionals, ensuring their effectiveness in supporting Aleph Alpha's growth and addressing People challenges.
- Act as a strategic People Partner and coach to Department leaders, providing guidance on talent development and performance.
- Support Department Leads in establishing future organizational setups and identifying hiring needs.
- Develop and adjust people programs to meet clients´ specific requirements, including People Partnering, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation, and Incentivization.
- Drive the development of a strong company culture and values that foster employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, managing employee relations and addressing any issues that arise.
- Proven experience as a senior leader in a People role, preferably as a Head of People & Culture or equivalent, within a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
- In-depth and practical knowledge of state-of-the-art org building, People best practices, and employment law
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how the People function creates the best value for the business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in driving cultural transformation and building an inclusive and high-performance culture
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-based arguments and decisions
- Hunger to get your hands dirty, with a proactive and pragmatic approach as well as a can-do attitude, always on the look-out for improvements
- A passion for new technologies and automation
- Ability to work from office in Heidelberg 50% of your time
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) and ideally German
