We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Cologne as a Junior Maintenance Planner. As a Junior Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aircraft maintenance activities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the planning and coordination of maintenance tasks to optimize aircraft availability while adhering to safety regulations and maintenance schedules. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual with a passion for aviation and a desire to develop a career in aircraft maintenance planning.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with senior maintenance planners and technicians to support the execution of aircraft maintenance plans.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, modifications, and component replacements.
• Prepare and check work packages for assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of task instructions, necessary tools, materials, and estimated timelines.
• Monitor the progress of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to established schedules and promptly addressing any deviations or issues that may impact aircraft availability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including work completed, parts used, and time spent,.
• Support the evaluation of maintenance processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate mitigation measures to minimize operational disruptions and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on aircraft maintenance regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements related to aircraft line maintenance.
Training and instructing colleagues in using the maintenance m anagement system .

Prerequisites :

• Completed vocational training, ideally but not necessarily in the field of aircraft maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Prior experience or exposure to aircraft line maintenance operations is advantageous.
  Affinity to using software tools / computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
• Effective communication skills in English and German to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
