The position is located in the Lead Identification Department, within the Discovery unit of the pRED’s Large Molecules Research, where the discovery of next generation biotherapeutics is the primary focus. We closely collaborate with therapeutic areas and other functions to convert therapeutic hypotheses into innovative therapeutics.

Job mission

We are offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Science and People Leader (m/f/d) to work with a highly engaged team of molecular biology, biochemistry, and display technologies specialists using state-of-the art technology and automation. You will be responsible for in vitro discovery and characterization of antibody-based therapeutic molecules , as well as new methods optimization and implementation.

Your impact

• Leading a team of 6 to 8 highly motivated experts in display technologies and protein engineering.

• Shaping and evolving pRED’s portfolio projects by discovering and characterizing next generation protein therapeutics.

• Driving the development of next generation display technology platforms and their integration into discovery workflows.

• Nurturing trustful relationships and effective collaboration with internal and external partners.

Your profile

Your extensive professional experience in large molecule drug discovery, in vitro display methods as well as state of the art Molecular Biology and Biochemistry enables you to expertly lead cross functional teams and support portfolio projects. You have a keen interest in working with IT systems and (semi)-automated platforms. You are resourceful and flexible in problem solving and in working in a collaborative and inclusive manner with strong oral and written communication skills.
