Your responsibilities

Our product Affinity makes it easy for Asset & Wealth Managers to enrich their fundamental and quantitative data with unstructured data insights. It’s an insights hub that helps investors maximise investment performance, business value and market knowledge. Affinity unlocks a continuous stream of relevant thematic insights that enrich asset allocation, internal processes and much more — all through an easy-to-use platform. We keep researching in the fields of Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Content Extraction, Information Presentation, Graph Technology, and Big Data Analysis.

Your tasks among others, will include the continuous scientific development and finetuning improvement of the operational and performance functionality of our products in relevant areas. Included in this is the evaluation of relevant processes and algorithms. As part of your responsibilities you will further develop these applications and make sure that they are fit for purpose in relation to our company’s relevant service offer(s). You will set up the implementation of these algorithms and work alongside our software developers in successfully integrating the upgraded or new applications into our product portfolio.

In the course of your academic / professional career you have acquired a deep knowledge in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. In addition, you have familiarity with Deep Learning techniques. You can design data architecture solutions and develop new modules with up to date software solutions.

Your profile

You have an excellent degree (at least up to a Master’s qualification or a Doctorate) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or an equivalent subject area. You have practical skills and experience in Big Data Analytics. You know how to apply the latest techniques in Data Mining, Machine Learning and statistical analysis in order to enable the modelling of intelligence results involving complex data connections and clusters, in addition you know how to present and set up visualisations of such results. You can programme in Python or R, have expertise with current software frameworks and can use a GPU not just as a playing device. Good spoken and written German and English complete your profile.
