Our Molecular Cartography™ platform has been well received by scientists through an early access program since 2016. We are now entering into an exciting phase of rapid growth and commercialization.
With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a full-time
(Senior) Engineer - Life Cycle Management [m/f/d]. The role will be responsible to further improve our innovative Molecular Cartography Technology.
In this position you would be part of a dynamic, international team of scientists & engineers and work on exciting challenges in a high-tech company on a daily basis. As a startup we prefer candidates with hands-on experience.
The role is based in our office in Monheim am Rhein, Germany, but will need to work effectively with other global sites and external partners.
Responsibilities: - Improve the performance of software related topics in our Molecular Cartography Instrument
- Technology transfer from system development into routine operations
- Development and implementation of new features in cooperation with R&D and Product Management
- Working together with and managing external partners in contract development and manufacturing projects
- Trouble shooting (2nd line support) for our service & customer-based instruments in cooperation with field service
Your profile - You have at least a Bachelor’s degree (master’s or higher preferred) in an engineering, computer science or scientific discipline
- Minimum of three years experience in instrumental software development with focus on GUI/frontend and backend development
- You have experience with optical instruments (microscopy) and liquid handling in the life science industry
- You have advanced programming experience in python and C# with focus on instrument automation
- You are a team player that is used to work with internal and external partners
- Automated data analysis and image analysis skills are a plus
- Expertise in root cause analysis methods and continuous improvement techniques is a plus
- You are comfortable in a self-starter dynamic, fast paced, and results driven environment
- You have a good knowledge of English in both written and spoken, German is a plus
