We are seeking a Technology Innovation Team Lead to play a pivotal role in Vodafone's Business Platforms and Solutions portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a technical and team leader with a profound understanding of business goals, processes, and IT solutions architecture. The focus is on advancing Vodafone's leadership in digital platforms, particularly in the context of 4G/5G/6G Connectivity and the ongoing industry transformation in Connected Mobility. As the lead, you will be instrumental in creating an ecosystem for Connected Mobility Services, both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing architectural solutions for IoT platforms, products, and solutions, serving as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders, and collaborating with Vodafone Group and Operating Companies Technology Teams. Additionally, you will represent Vodafone in public funded projects and engage with external partners and customers.

What will you be doing?

• Lead technical R&D team that designs and implements new Connected Mobility solutions.
• Lead public funded projects and keep the relationship with external partners and customers
• Translate business and technical requirements into an IT architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, platform/product technical architects, solutions/application architects and infrastructure teams
• Produce technical documentation and project status reports

It would be nice if you have:

• Demonstrable and recent track record of managing R&D projects and R&D teams
• Leading teams and people
• Managing public-funded projects
• Ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams
• Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
• Good understanding of agile principles and development methodologies
• Full operational proficiency in both German and English languages is a highly desirable skill for this position.
