This position is part of the Statistics team that is globally responsible to support the BioPharma network comprising sites in Germany, Austria, USA, and China.
Statistical topics cover the complete value chain of the biopharmaceutical production process at different stages from development, launch and life cycle.
You are part of a diverse team of statistical experts who are all responsible for advancing specific core topics within our area.
This position is limited for 2 years.
This position is part time eligible with 70%.

- In your new role, you ensure the planning and execution for all types of statistical analyses within the Biopharmaceutical network in areas such as development, production, analytical or quality.
- You develop new statistical concepts and refine state-of-the art methods to support existing processes and ensure higher quality, efficiency, and improved compliance.
- Thanks to your scientific expertise, you provide high-quality statistics for publications.
- Together with subject matter experts e.g., from process or analytics, you provide solution for biological root cause analysis and generate generic knowledge from data.
- In addition, you build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide statistical training for scientists.
- Furthermore, you are responsible for the conception, planning, coordination, and follow-up of medium size to large statistical projects.
- Completed doctorate or PhD in statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
- Excellent knowledge in applied statistics (frequentist or Bayesian) with experience in advanced regression or modelling techniques and statistical inference
- Good programming skills in GNU-R
- Expertise in Design of Experiment (DoE) and corresponding software tools are an advantage
- Experience in the (bio-)pharmaceutical industry as well as knowledge in associated guidelines (EMA, FDA, ICH) are preferred
- Fluent in English and good knowledge of German
