We are currently looking for a Head of E-Business AGS (Austria/Germany/Switzerland) at the next possible starting date
Your mission in this role is to expand the eBusiness footprint and develop the Owned & Operated eD2C sales channel in Germany by driving Net Sales, Gross Margin and Profitability through website merchandising, performance marketing, content initiatives and efficient post purchase operations and to develop the eRetail (3rd party) business in AGS region – in Germany directly and indirectly in Austria and Switzerland – by driving country revenue and profit growth, and by building our brand visibility and desirability online based on measurable KPI.
Main Responsibilities
A Goal-oriented and motivating leadership as well as empowerment of a team of about 5 professionals who report directly to you and support you to achieve your key responsibilities:
eD2C
- Define website strategies and tactical measures to drive revenues and P&L improvement
- Identify opportunities in site development to improve the UX and commerciality of your website
- Use web analytics to identify and leverage new/optimized routes to consumers as growth opportunities
- Drive qualified traffic through SEO, SEA and SEM and achieve top results
- Use CRM & Loyalty programs to build consumer retention
- Ensure volume and value forecasts to reflect consumer demand and logistical need
- Work closely with country/regional marketing, sales and operations teams on initiatives to achieve KPIs
- Collaborate with global and regional shared service teams to provide and improve business requirements
- Ongoing reporting on quantitative and qualitative website performances, monitoring of operational KPIs
eRetail:
- Set commercial and brand strategies for the business area in line with brand guidelines and priorities
- Identify and test new business opportunities to drive brands + innovations together with our customers
- Support the eKAM to negotiate annual terms & conditions in line with channel strategy
- Obtain digital KPI to analyse performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Plan and orchestrate online activations and digital content with eRetailers based on marketing plans and guidelines
Education:
- College degree, preferably in ecommerce, business, or supply chain
Professional experience & know how:
- 10 years of increasing experience in eCom/eRetail business with at least 3yrs in a leadership or matrixed team role
- Expert in understanding the entire eCommerce landscape, including architecture, processes, systems
- Good understanding of consumer journeys and shopper missions in an omnichannel environment
- Comprehensive understanding of key digital marketing & media parameters as well as key retail metrics
- Assortment, merchandising and inventory planning abilities
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-departmental team and matrix organization
- A collaborative & solution-oriented team player who leads through passion, integrity and energy
- Passion for wines and spirits category, affinity to a luxury environment

- English & German fluent written & spoken, French preferable
