Location: Berlin, Germany
Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend)
Position: up to 20 hours per week during term time (up to 40 hours option during school break)

atai Life Sciences is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel treatments for mental health conditions so that everyone, everywhere, can live a more fulfilled life. We aim to enable mental health patients to achieve clinically meaningful and sustained behavioral change by developing rapid-acting compounds with durable efficacy as well as digital therapeutics.
We operate a hybrid virtual/in-person working model, with most of the team spending time in our offices as required. atai hubs are in Berlin, New York City, and San Diego.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including scheduling interviews, organizing company swag, and maintaining HR systems.
- Coordinate office logistics and facilities management for the Berlin office, including ordering supplies, coordinating maintenance requests, mail processing and ensuring an enjoyable and comfortable work environment.
- Own and manage our Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring content is up to date, managing user access, and providing technical support to employees as needed.
- Conduct compensation reporting and benchmarking, analyzing salary data to ensure competitiveness in the market and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR team, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in HR, Administration or related
- Fluency in English (required) and German (desired)
- Strong interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn and grow in the field
- Highly resourceful and able to handle complex and competing priorities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
