The Procurement team “Capex & Facilities” within Procurement Indirects at Beiersdorf Group is an international team of Global Category Managers covering the categories Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Machines, Facility Management, Facility Services and Energy Supply. We are responsible for providing Procurement support to our global portfolio of production centers, distribution centers, management units, and facilities across 150 affiliates worldwide. Dealing with high investment volumes and strategic demands, our team requires individuals with strong strategic procurement and project management skills.
- In this position you are responsible for definition and deployment of global strategies, SC roadmap and strategic Project Procurement tasks in CAPEX & Facilities Categories
- You are accountable for active management of supplier relationships and contracts for the full category spend against the overall target to maximize the Procurement value contribution (e.g. project timeline, return on investment, cost development, supply security, improved services, innovation) leveraging the full range of options available in the market
- In your Senior Procurement role within global footprint projects, you are responsible for compliance, standardization and continuous improvement of methods and processes, stakeholder management and a strong and sustainable interface towards demand owner and Procurement community
- You take functional leading roles of experts / specialists in global and regional procurement and category business and actively identify and implement development potentials. In addition to this you drive functional capability building and know-how sharing across the Procurement community
- Minimum of ten years working experience in relevant industries and five years of proven track record in Capex Procurement with high volume investments with project character
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- Relevant professional experience and deep knowledge in construction, machine and plant engineering, demonstrating a strong technical understanding
- Experienced in handling contracts following HOAI, VOB, and FIDIC standards
- Functional leadership and project management experience are expected
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP, e-tendering, S2C/P2P processes
- Fluent in English with good German language skills
- Strong communication and cooperation skills, demonstrated at both national and international levels
- Confident and persuasive in demeanor, analytical skills and employ target-oriented methodologies
- Proactive and pragmatic in approach and execution
