THIS IS THE JOB

As Project Manager R&D (Materials / Innovation) (human) your main tasks will be:

• As part of the R&D team you will support the development of new products and optimization of existing products in the area of home and personal care products.

• You will coordinate and ensure the supply of raw materials to the R&D laboratory and external partners.

• You will be responsible for the practical testing of new/alternative/innovative raw materials together with the R&D team.

• You will implement projects (innovation driven and basic projects) together with raw material manufacturers and perfume houses including networking.

• You will review and monitor raw material documentation for legal suitability and usability in terms of sustainability requirements.

• You will be responsible for market monitoring to find new and innovative raw materials as well as raw material alternatives.

• You will review raw material documentation for legal suitability and usability in terms of sustainability requirements including data management.

• 
  You have completed an apprenticeship or have a university degree in natural sciences (preferably chemistry).

• You have 2-4 years of professional experience in the field of product development.

• You already have relevant experience in the field of chemical raw materials and manufacturing processes

• You show a high knowledge of the requirements of cosmetics law and the Detergent and Cleaning Products Act (WRMG)

• You have a high degree of analytical thinking and solution-oriented processing of complex issues.

• Your high level of communication helps you to build and maintain a strong network.

• You are self-organized, reliable and have a conscientious way of working.

• You are confident in the documentation of work results.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP is desirable.

• You have a very good command of written and spoken German (C2) and English (C1).
