The Airbus Transverse Cabin & Livery design office is end-to-end responsible for all cabin interior curtains, placards, floor cover, partitions, emergency equipment, and external livery on all Airbus aircraft families. We design and develop to market needs, we support the final product until deployment into service and provide In-Service-Support.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU as a Cabin Version Engineer!

Your way of working is result-oriented, self-dependent, proactive and efficient in day-to-day activity.

Your areas of responsibility include the following main topics

• Understand customer specific needs and their impact on our products
• Design and configuration of customized solutions including re-use of existing technical options to optimize customization costs
• Plan the deliverables in accordance with their impact on the complete end-to-end customization process
• Prepare the documents for technical and airworthiness approval
• Guide international subcontractors and partners
• Identify improvements and introduce new designs for future products
You are in charge of all technical subjects and interchange with the manufacturing, Delivery Centre and Customer Support Team.

Your boarding pass:

• Educated master's degree level in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related studies
• First experience in project management at university, school or during an internship
• First working experience in development, simulation, validation and verification of aviation systems is beneficial.
• You are confident in using state of the art engineering IT-tools
• Knowledge in digital tools is a plus for you

• You have good communication and negotiation skills (stakeholders’ management)
• You are capable to adapt, to be proactive, to take initiatives
• You are flexible to work autonomously and to collaborate with a team

Your language skills :

• English at negotiation level
• German intermediate level
