We are looking for an individual to join our Research and Development (R&D) team in our Neustadt near Coburg factory. Neustadt near Coburg belongs to the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) Region which has plants in Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania.
Your main responsibilities as Product Development Engineer
- conductor design and optimization in Germany
- support conductor design activities within CEE
- create cable designs based on standards and/or customer request
- create quotations both for internal and external customers
- support design to cost and design to sustainability activities
- primary contact towards manufacturing

The ideal candidate has
- a passion for product development
- a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in either product development or process engineering
- creative approaches to problem solving
- knowledge/experience in metallurgy and/or working with polymers
- a good communication skills in English and German
