Our Data Intelligence team is on the lookout for a curious and passionate full-time Data Analyst Intern to join us in our mission to deliver an exceptional product for users and help us acquire customers at scale. In this role, you'll work with some of the richest datasets from the travel industry, delivering insights to the business and streamlining reporting, pipelines and processes. Your focus will be on marketing intelligence, but you'll also collaborate with other data teams like Data Insights, Product Intelligence and Data Engineering, as well as other cross-functional teams! How you'll make an impact:

• Collaborate with (and be mentored by) a Senior Analyst/Data Scientist to take part in the whole lifecycle of your initiatives
• Develop a great understanding of our business, users, data, and technology
• Monitor data regularly to spot trends and find anomalies that will create additional business value
• Make (raw) data more easily accessible to various stakeholders using tools and methodologies to deliver figures, metrics or data visualizations
• Develop, maintain, and visualize clear and actionable KPIs to stay on top of performance and uncover potential optimizations

What you'll need to thrive:

• Fluent English (our company language) skills
• Studies (completed or in progress) in economics, mathematics, engineering, or other relevant analytical field of study
• Availability for a 6-month internship
• A passion for data exploration, visualization, and analysis with a keen eye for detail
• Good knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language, preferably R or Python
• Analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from significant amounts of data
• Eagerness to find and work on problems worth solving and monitor progress from day one
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

Stand out with:

• High level of motivation with a structured way of working
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Big query
• Proficiency in using Python, R or similar for data analytics
• Being comfortable with dashboarding tools like Looker
