Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Description
The location for this position is EUROPE.
In this role you will provide professional support for our field sales representatives and clinical specialists, as well as Customer Services, Inventory and Commercial Operations teams within international markets. You will be working hand-in-hand with the Commercial Operations and the Customer Service International Team members to provide a positive experience for Shockwave Medical customers and the Shockwave Medical sales teams and bring process improvement and efficiency to inventory practices.
High Level Responsibilities
- Manage inventory allocation and disposition of sales personnel trunk stock and/or customer consignment Internationally.
- Incorporate automation and reporting to daily field inventory practices.
- Communicate with field sales personnel in a constructive manner to find solutions to individualized problem sets.
- Communicate with cross functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks ensuring field sales personnel have necessary equipment to provide ideal care to patient population.
- Create, monitor, and improve reports in PowerBI using metrics generated in SalesForce, Oracle, and other systems.
- Work with large data sets, glean intelligence from data, and draw conclusions, enabling recommendations to key stakeholder groups.
- Identify opportunities to reduce product wastage and works with appropriate stakeholders on required actions implementation.
- Manage European warehouse inventory allocations and investigate inaccuracies
- Monitor stock levels and replenishment orders
- Support inventory cycle counts
- Monitor Consignment stock accounts and handle discrepancies investigations and resolutions
- Follow up with customers and/or sales teams in the event of order issues
- Provide customers with specific documentation where required
- Follow up with customers on pending POs
- Support International Customer Service Colleagues with order management and customer requests (might imply working on a bank day)
- Work closely with US counterpart, finance, sales, marketing, quality, regulatory and operations teams as needed
- Support any project or task required by the line manager
- Ensure general administrative duties are met
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in Inventory, Customer Services or Sales support equivalent functions
- Speaks/writes/reads English fluently, good knowledge (i.e. B2 level) of French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German is a plus
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of ORACLE is a plus
- Knowledge of Sales Force is a plus
- Knowledge of PowerBi is a plus
