Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Test Execution: Conduct performance verification tests for hospital patient monitoring systems according to predefined test methods and protocols.
- Data Collection: Collect and record test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Test Equipment Operation: Operate various testing equipment and instruments, such as patient simulators and monitoring devices.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and observations in compliance with medical device regulations and standards.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and diagnosing issues or anomalies during testing and report them to the test engineer or relevant team members.
- Test Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments to guarantee accurate and reliable results.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe testing environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the test engineer and cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute testing activities efficiently.
Skills & Experience:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Bio medical/Electrical/Electronic with 4+yrs of experience, preferably in Medical domain
- Technical Aptitude: Strong technical background and familiarity with electronics, medical devices, and testing equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in data collection and recording to maintain the integrity of test results.
- Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate and organized records and reports.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe testing environment.
- Problem-Solving: Basic troubleshooting skills to assist in identifying and addressing issues during testing.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of medical device regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485 and 21CFR820, is a plus.
- Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with engineers and other team members.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing testing requirements and procedures.
- Attention to Regulations: Awareness of compliance requirements related to medical device testing.
- Organization: Capability to manage and organize test related documentation and equipment.
- Instrument Operation: Familiarity with operating various monitoring instruments used in patient monitoring systems testing.
