ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for you as an enthusiastic Working Student - Digital Asset Operations. You will be part of the Digital Asset Operations Team and gain valuable insights into content ingestion and catalog management for the Audible, Amazon and iTunes platforms, dealing with the newest and most exciting audiobooks, audio dramas and podcasts available. In your position you will predominantly work on the ingestion of audio and image assets into Audible’s catalogue. Through quality assurance and catalogue maintenance, you would assist your globally operating team to deliver highly valuable products to customers.
As a Working Student - Digital Asset Operations, you will…
- Check incoming assets for completeness and compliance with Audible’s guidelines
- Process and encode new delivered audio content
- Verify audio quality for new releases
- Process cover art and table of content
- Fix audio and image issues and customer-facing bugs
- Maintain our digital audio archive
- Support the team in international project work
- Proof listen new German audio books, audio drama and podcast releases

Basic Qualifications
- You are a student, enrolled in either your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in the Berlin/Brandenburg area and have at least 1 year of studies left
- First experience in digital audio and image creation, editing, or processing
- Experience and general interest in media technology
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Great command in English, both written and spoken
- Commitment to quality and ability to work independently and meticulously
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional language skills in German, French, Italian, or Spanish are a plus
- You are interested in the book and media industry and you are passionate about content (books, audio books, audio dramas, podcasts)
- First hands-on experience with DAWs such as ProTools, Logic Pro, CuBase, Ableton, etc.
- You are a team player and have a hands-on mentality
- You enjoy working in an international environment
OUR OFFER

- Compensated with 15.87€ per hour
