In order to support our Communications & Sustainability department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Site Communications Business Partner Bremen (d/f/m)

The vacancy is initially limited to 12 months. You will act as the focal point for site communications in Bremen.

The Bremen site is home to the Space Exploration programme unit and as such to the flagship Orion-ESM (European Service Module) programme that will propel the first woman and first person of colour to the Moon. This is a high visibility endeavour requiring intensive communications with our ESA and NASA partners. The communication function ensures a trusted and timely dialogue with internal and external stakeholders across Airbus, and its subsidiaries. The function is constantly evolving to set new standards in product and corporate communication to translate the company strategy, nurture partnerships and build a strong brand reputation around the world.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Design and align the local communications plan for the site

• Represent Airbus DS and Communications in local internal/external committees

• Lead the execution of Airbus and divisional communication plans

• Drive efficient collaboration with and provides site-specific knowledge to the wider communications organization

• Act as project leader to ensure on-brief execution of the project or action with the other areas in the Communications Team (Creative Core)

• Collaborate with the Events & Exhibitions team for the planning and execution of local events

• Planning and execution of communication activities around local sponsorships, donations and partnership projects

• Monitor and evaluate news and media coverage on site level

• Ensure efficient and appropriate use of e.g. local social media accounts if existent

• Manage the crisis communications in site

Desired skills and qualifications

• Several years of experience in different communication fields (Employee Communication, Branding, Media Relations, Editorial, Digital Media or Communication Strategy & Planning)

• Understanding of media and how to effectively manage topics in the media

• Storytelling and editorial skills

• Ability to understand complex topics

• Autonomous, creative & can-do attitude

• Ability to work in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Ability to convince and connecting easily to different internal and external stakeholders

• Fluent level of German and English (speaking and writing)
