What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-Wexford Cryptologic Russian/Ukrainian Linguist, you will be responsible for all language translation, and interpretation needs activities supporting Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR). This position requires the ability to fluently read, write, and speak to an individual in Russian or Ukrainian. The Linguist will provide support to meet the Command requirements for each coordination or training event and translates written training materials and products between languages for use by U.S. and Partner Nation personnel. Provides on-site interpretation support as required for multi-lingual training events. Supports key leader engagement, meetings, and conferences.
More About the Role:
You will provide Cryptologic linguistic and translation support for multi-language events. As well as translating documents between English and regionally aligned languages to improve target audience comprehension for the TSOC.
- Periodic Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance with CI Poly
- Master's degree in a related field and more than three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, or ten years of direct work experience.
- Experience as a 35P, 1N3X1, 1A8X1, CTI, 267X or equivalent is preferred
- Language test scores equivalent to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 2/3 in Listening and/or Reading within the past two years.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- 2 years of prior experience providing language support to a SOF unit or TSOC.
