Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a (Senior) Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Provide reliable, practical, and risk-mitigating advice and solutions
Drive key compliance program initiatives forward in a change-driven international group
Regularly evaluate, improve, implement, and monitor policies, processes, and procedures
Review relevant legal and regulatory developments, analyze their impact on Brenntag’s business, and monitor their implementation
Perform and/or support the performance of the group-wide compliance risk assessment
Provide compliance training for Brenntag´s management and employees
Work cross-functionally with employees at all levels to ensure efficient integration of the compliance program
Manage and lead cross-departmental projects
Support compliance reporting requirements
Further develop Brenntag’s positive compliance culture

Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in compliance, trade compliance, legal, risk, or similar fields
Master of Law / Business or similar degree preferred, unless equivalent experience is demonstrated
Deep understanding of how to analyze regulations and develop and implement procedures and policies
High-motivation and ability to develop, manage, and successfully lead project within a complex stakeholder environment
Ability to handle multiple, competing tasks and deadlines as part of an international team
High service- and solution orientation, reliability, and with excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
