Your tasks

• Take charge of the planning, management and implementation of a growth-oriented SCM strategy and an optimal production and supplier network in cooperation with our worldwide locations.

• Responsible for conducting and moderating optimization workshops along the supply chain in an international environment as well as conducting training (methods, philosophy, train the trainer, etc.).

• Actively promote the sustainable implementation of a culture of continuous improvement using methods of the Excellence@Voith initiative and Lean Management as well as further develop planning tools for forecasting, sales and operations processes.

• Ensure smooth, profitable production through cost and quality optimized manufacturing, logistics and supply chain processes.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in a technical or economic field (e. g. industrial engineering, production engineering or comparable).
• Strong expertise in Lean Management, Operations Excellence and/or Six Sigma in both management and implementation.
• Already very good knowledge in project and change management.
• Many years of professional experience with responsibility for production, procurement, logistics, planning and SCM in an internationally operating (consulting) company in the area of Global Operations is an advantage.
• In addition to business fluent written and spoken German and English, further foreign language skills (Chinese, Spanish/Portuguese) are desirable.
• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic and integrating personality (m/f/d) who keeps the overview even in complex situations and can motivate global, intercultural teams.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 25 %) to our worldwide Voith locations.
