The Role:
Do you have a passion for HR and want to play a vital role in shaping the employee experience? If so, our HR Partner Germany & Austria position might be for you. You'll take the reins in handling operational and administrative HR matters while spearheading the implementation of HR processes and policies in Germany & Austria. Plus, you'll be stepping in for your Swiss counterpart as a key member of the HR DACH-team.
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Drive and champion all HR-related initiatives in Germany.
- Collaborate on the implementation of global and local HR policies and processes.
- Empower line managers to excel in their roles, particularly in recruiting and onboarding.
- Provide proactive support to employees on operational HR matters.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations while offering expert advice on employee relations.
- Actively contribute to fostering employee engagement and a positive work environment.
- Oversee the accurate management of employee and compensation data, working closely with external payroll providers.
- Maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders, including the Worker's Council.
- Be an active member of the regional HR team DACH and contribute to global HR projects.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related business field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role (HRBP, HR Manager, HR Generalist) with expertise spanning the entire employee life cycle.
- A proven track record of supporting managers in various HR capacities.
- Successful management of sourcing and recruiting activities.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, regulations, and trends.
- A solid grasp of local labor markets and employment-related laws and regulations.
- The ability to understand business challenges and deliver impactful solutions.
- Familiarity with various HR tools and applications.
- Exceptional task prioritization and a sharp focus on deliverables.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in handling challenging discussions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration abilities, with a global outlook.
- Proven ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and utmost confidentiality.
- A bonus if you understand regulations in the medical device industry.
- Fluency in German.
