Business and Resource Manager (Youth Offending Service)

Birmingham Children’s Trust is looking to appoint a passionate and self-motivated Business and Resource Manager within the Youth Offending Service. The Service is on a significant development journey to support the achievement of better outcomes for children, families, victims of crime and communities.

As Business and Resource Manager you will have a pivotal role in supporting reform, contributing to the setting and delivery of strategic priorities and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of all aspects of the Service.

Working closely with the YOS Leadership Team and key partners you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operation of the Service in relation to all resource and administrative functions including estate management, grant monitoring, contracts and commissioning, strategic reporting, policy and procedure management and human resources.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar environment and role; who possesses outstanding leadership and management skills, who is well organised, creative and innovative in their thinking and approaches; who can work autonomously, proactively and can set, work to and meet tight deadlines.

You must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and child focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible and responsive approach.
