Your Challenge You are looking to drive your
career in food science?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our
Lipid Science and Application EMEA team in Hamburg. Our aim is to facilitate the research and development of innovative vegetable oils and fats from raw materials all the way to application in finished products like confectionery, meat alternatives, fried goods and many others. The principal accountability of this position is to identify opportunities, manage and execute R&D/product development projects from idea to solution.
Your Responsibilities - Manage and execute lipid related research and development projects from idea to final reporting
- Combine scientific insight with processing know-how to create novel products and overcome research challenges
- Design and develop lipid solutions to serve current and future market trends
- Independently develop and run laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials
- Process and interpret results
- Report and present research findings
- Collaborate extensively with the international lipid science team to develop and implement new product developments, analytical methods, modification and refining technologies
- Provide lipid science insights in cross-functional project teams to develop and create final consumer product concepts for the full ADM food portfolio
Job Description (Con't)
Your Profile - An academic degree in food science, food chemistry or food technology with prior work experience of at least 2 years in the food industry, preferably in a lipid production or research and development function
- Knowledge of vegetable oils and fats, and related refining procedures, modification and application technologies
- Hands-on style and service mentality
- Fluent level of German and English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of project management
- High dedication and self-motivation
- Team player
