Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to Brain Division. We are looking for a VIE Lidar Algorithm for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

You will be part of a LiDAR based algorithm development team, responsible to develop solutions for high level ADAS perception based on LiDAR data.

• You will work on understanding of the LiDAR data and models behind it

• You will do prototype and design of an algorithm for the needed ADAS application

• You will also do testing and implementation to follow the automotive standards

• As a result, your work will be running on a real LiDAR based autonomous perception system

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Master/Engineering degree in computer vision, mathematics, or engineering field

• You have knowledge in neural networks (selection, training, optimization)

• You also have knowledge in computer vision algorithms (clustering methods, tracking methods)

• You are fluent in programming languages C/C++ and python

• Knowledge of embedded programming is a plus

• You have a fluent level of English

• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
