Ditzingen is waiting for you with satellite system technologies. This is the right place for you if you want to join us to integrate, verify and qualify large and complex ground segments, such as the European navigation satellite system Glileo. Or are you excited about solutions for small satellites which enable novel applications, including space-based air traffic monitoring, the Internet of things and machine-to-machine communication? Then you will join the expert team of Thales Alenia Space Germany facilitating a sustainable life on earth. We are happy to have you on board!

Your mission

• You’re in charge for your Galileo subsystem, both during in-huse development phase and subsequent verification phase on upper levels

• Installation and configuration of new software releases, development of new functionalities and tests as well as subsequent execution

• You analyse the complex IT network environment between the Galileo subsystems and ensure that the test environment is working as required

• Stay in close contact to the developers at different sites in Europe as a part of a very large consortium

We are looking forward to

• IT/Computer Science/ Engineering Degree (Software Engineering, Aeronautical, Space Engineering, Telecommunication, or equivalent)

• Deep knowledge of larger IT environments and the ability to analyse networks with switches and firewalls

• Experience in Linux server architecture und usage of command line

• Knowledge of at least one programming language; advanced knowledge on Robot Framework, Selenium and Ansible is beneficial

• Previous experience in a SCRUM role is desired
