In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Elektrotechnik - Informatik, we are looking for a researcher as of the nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt at the following conditions:
- 100% = 39,83 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited for the duration of 3 years
- Design and development of embedded sensor systems for machine monitoring
- Research into novel machine learning methods from sensor systems
- Working with mechanical engineering researchers to optimise and streamline processes
- Publication of research results in international journals and presentation at conferences
- Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary cooperation with mechanical engineers and electrical engineers
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, very good communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of German is desirable
- Promotion of own scientific or artistic qualification according to the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz [act on temporary employment in higher education] (e.g. PhD)
