About the Role

The Rugvista tech team is growing, and we are looking for a new Backend Web Developer to join us. You will be integral to our team, working on a state-of-the-art platform that focuses on delivering an exceptional user experience. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and success of our e-commerce operations, ensuring our platforms remain robust, secure, and up-to-date with the latest technologies.

In this role, you will develop our PIM solution, integrations to various systems, building services and APIs to achieve superb functionality, performance, and flexibility. You will collaborate with a talented team, including backend and front-end developers, UX designers, CRO expert, and product owners, to deliver innovative solutions. Our team thrives on a high pace, strong team spirit, and transparency. We continuously share knowledge and support each other, making collaboration the key to our success.

What you bring

Must-Have Technical Experience

• Proficiency in GIT
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and development
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns and software design principles in a modern web environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is beneficial but not required.

Preferred Technical Competence

• Experience with high-traffic sites
• Knowledge of PHP, TypeScript, AWS, Docker, and Node
• E-commerce experience
• Frontend knowledge and interest
• Preferably 5+ years in a similar position

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
