Your team
You will join the Governance and Transformation Services (GTS) Division, which acts as a cross-functional service platform and provides in-house services in the fields of finance, IT, administration and human resources. The Division has more than 50 staff working in the areas of communication, digital transformation, service delivery/optimisation, quality management, financial management and vendor/service management.
As a member of our highly dynamic and collaborative Digital Transformation team, you will deliver insights and automation support to colleagues using AI chatbots, data analytics and robotic process automation. Working closely with stakeholders and business partners, you will help to identify opportunities for transformation and to implement solutions. Your role
As a trainee in the GTS Division’s Digital Transformation team, you will:
- identify business needs and analyse requirements for chatbots;
- design intuitive and user-friendly dialogue flows using predefined natural language processing;
- track user interactions and assess chatbot performance with analytics tools;
- contribute to the development of automated testing and training solutions for chatbots;
- identify areas where workflows could be streamlined, and implement new tools and technologies to help the Digital Transformation team work more efficiently;
- plan, communicate, coordinate and execute tasks in collaboration with Business Area chatbot owners to maintain and optimise their chatbots.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
- a bachelor’s degree or higher in business informatics, computer science, statistics, mathematics or another relevant field (you can still apply if you graduated in another subject but your studies included relevant elective components in the area of science and technology);
- a good knowledge of Python, R or another statistical programming language;
- knowledge of data processing and visualisation (e.g. Tableau or another visualisation tool);
- excellent analytical and conceptual skills, and an interest in complex technical content;
- a good knowledge of the MS Office package;
- an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Desired:
- an understanding of chatbot development frameworks and a good knowledge of conversational AI basic concepts and building blocks (IBM Watson Assistant, Rasa or another conversational AI platform);
- knowledge of user experience design and of preparing, handling and analysing requirements using design thinking methodologies.
